This is a great app for my kids. Reads the story and also allows interaction.

Wonderful narration by Stan Lee and very faithful to Amazing Fantasy #15! My 3 year old loved it, and so did I! More please!

This App may not may happy the oldest fans of SpiderMan despite the fact that having the voice of Its creator reading the story is a great Bonus. But the story is well written with a lot of interactions on most pages. Games after the recent update are much better and our 3 boys love jumping from a building to another one or trying to catch the targets. I guess only 2 things could be improved. Having the other origin stories (Iron Man, Thor, Captain America) and having other languages ready. Always fun to hear the same story with other languages and trying to have the kids learning another language than their own. Another one please!

Pros: Excellent blend of background music, read-aloud, text, movie-like zoom, and mini-games. Cons: Only about 20-40 minutes total-time (estimated for quick to slow reading pace, respectively) -- way shorter than I expected for $4.99.

The retelling of a classic story by a true legend makes for an action packed story time. The game where you can swing through the streets is awesome. I just wish that there was a way to personalize the experience.

This is definitely not worth 6.99 for just a few pages of childlike activities.all you does listen to a story,then it tells you to click on things like a kid.i would certainly like a refund.

I really like this. My son goes through the book over and over again. I cant wait for more books to come out!

The sound does not work on this app.

But it needs more stories now how about an update!!! Ha lets get a few new stories and if they did this will all comics id buy them Fasho

Engaging retelling of the Spiderman story, love the interactivity and little animations that bring the book to life! If they make more of these, itd be cool to bring in the Green Goblin and more notable villains. A good buy for slightly older kids, and dedicated comic fans.

My 4-year-old son really has gotten into the Marvel fanfare lately. He loves when we "read" Spiderman as well as the other Marvel Reads books. However, he tends to lose focus when the narration drags a bit. Im sure its like that with many 4-year-olds. The interactive features do not contribute much to the storyline and I actually think they take away from the reading experience. At any rate, thank you Marvel for putting this out there for families. We all get something out of your books, shows, etc!

My 4 year old has the paperback version of this book, too. The app is very close to the book version. He absolutely loves this app! Its perfect when were out and I cant read him the actual book but this allows him to still get the story, interact with it more then he can do with a hardback book and hear the legendary Stan lees voice! What could be better then that? If your child is a Spiderman fan, this is a no brainer, you must get this app! You, and your child, will not be disappointed!

Super bummed there is no audio for this app. Please fix bugs. I have the iOS 5 new iPad and this app is not functioning.

A must have for the Marvel enthusiast. Delightful interaction and a great storyline with engaging art and animation.
